Pediatric Dermatology: The World's Reality in Children's Skin chronicles the proceedings of the Seventh International Congress of Pediatric Dermatology that was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in September 1994. Participants came from 38 different countries to meet and contribute to a scientific program that covered a broad spectrum of dermatologic disease in the pediatric population. The text is divided into 20 sections covering a wide range of topics, such as bullous diseases, infectious and tropical diseases, nutritional disorders, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and other immunodeficiencies, hair and nail disorders, neurocutaneous syndromes, vasculitis, and a smattering of genodermaloses and dermatopathology topics. Experts in the field have contributed editorials, reviews, and results of basic science, epidemiologic, and clinical research.
