Angiographic-pathologic comparison in osteosarcoma after presurgical chemotherapy

1983
This study was primarily undertaken to evaluate the sensitivity of angiography in detecting vital tumors after chemotherapy and it is based on the comparison of routine presurgical angiograms with longitudinal and transverse sections of the resected specimen. In the COSS-80 Protocol, prechemotherapy angiography was considered as a necessary investigation, although it is known that other groups do not share this opinion (Smith et al. 1982).
