Algorithm and System for Automatic Camshaft Testing

Abstract An original method for testing camahste Is developed. It can be used for a large variety of engines and it has been implemented for several Romanian engine manufactures The tooling algorithm is presented and a discussion concerning to mertts is made. The paper also contanins an outline of the hardware system used in conjunction with the algorithm. It is worth mentioning that the practical results are more than enoouraging from the point of viewσf accuracy and efficiency of testing.
