The invention relates to an optimal automatic power distribution method of a photoelectric complementary power supply system. The method comprises the following steps: extracting a set load power utilization priority matrix; detecting photovoltaic power and updating a power supply capacity matrix; if the electric quantity of an accumulator does not reach the lower limit or has been fully charged, turning off K1 and K2; if the electric quantity of the accumulator has reached the lower limit, and the photovoltaic power generating capacity is normal and can meet the demand of a load, turning on the K1; if the electric quantity of the accumulator has reached the lower limit, the photovoltaic power generating capacity cannot meet the demand of the load and the time is not in the lowest price time of a mains supply, turning off the K1 and the K2; calculating the state of each switch respectively and outputting; returning to the step II. The invention also discloses a system for realizing the optimal automatic power distribution method. A control rule for each switch is made, optimal automatic distribution of power is realized, and the input and output ratio of the photoelectric complementary power supply system is brought into play to the greatest extent.
