Search for K sub S r arrow 2. gamma. decay

1989
Using a magnetic radiation spectrometer, the upper limit for the probability of the {ital K}{sub {ital S}}{r arrow}2{gamma} decay is found to be {Gamma}({ital K}{sub {ital S}}{r arrow}2{gamma})/{Gamma}({ital K}{sub {ital S}}{r arrow}all channels){lt}1.3{times}10{sup {minus}5} at the 90% confidence level. The interference of amplitudes for the decays {ital K}{sub {ital L}}{r arrow}2{gamma} and {ital K}{sub {ital S}}{r arrow}2{gamma} is not taken into account.
