An adaptive-window-width short-time Fourier transform for visualization of radar target substructure resonances

A short-time Fourier transform with an adaptive-window-width is used to analyze the transient response of radar targets. The described algorithm allows the isolation and identification of substructure resonances as well as localized specular reflections and slowly building global resonances.
