English Teaching in Classroom Assisted by Computer-centered Multimedia

This paper, based on the constructivism learning theory, analyzes the four major merits of computer-assisted English instruction and the four major forms of misuse of multimedia in English classes. And then,it discusses the teaching mode in English classes with the assistance of multimedia and the five standards to assess the courseware. The aim of this research is to find a good way to carry out computer-assisted English instruction.
