The substitution of wheat flour by orange-fleshed sweet potato (ipomea batatas l.) flour on steamed-sponge-cake’s as a effort household food security  in community of bauxite mining buffer zone have at Tayan, Sanggau District, Wset Kalimantan havet been  studied. The goal of  research to find the obtimum substitution formula of wheat flour by orange-fleshed-potatoes flour on steam sponge cake’s  base on  sensory evaluation, nutrion content and  to housewives perception analysis.  The substituion of wheat flour by orange-flesed –potato (0, 20, 40 dan 60) % ,wet basis.  The sample of perception analysis  is 30 hosewives in Community of Bauxite Mining Buffer Zone from  Pedalaman, Tayan, Sanggau West Kalimantan . The Result showed that increasing of substitution wheatflour by orange-flesed-potato flour to accelarate   colour, flavour, taste, texture and  whole accpetance.  The house agrre to production of  steamed-sponge-cake’s  for  selling  (16,67 %), party (16,67 %), breakfast  (40,00 %),  snack (16,67%)  and  no serving to effort household  food security 9,90 %) .
