The invention provides a die forging technology of a shell of a titanium alloy (TC4) nozzle base, which can solve the problems of high labor strength of workers, complex process technology, low process efficiency and bad process precision which are caused by making a blank through open-die forging in the prior art. The die forging technology is characterized by being applicable to a shell piece with a head diameter ratio less than 3.5. The die forging technology comprises the following steps of: at first, discharging bars; then turning one of the end faces of the blank and chamfering, and turning a matching die cone surface at the other end of the blank; heating the blank; and finally, directly carrying out die forging on the blank in a forging die by a hydraulic screw pressure machine.
