Research on Core Making Process and Materials for New Type Cold Box

The advantages and disadvantages of urethane resin phenol urethanelamine process,furan resin SO2 process,and alkaline phenolic resin CO2 process were summarized.The binder for sodium silicate cold box,the core making process and its current application situation of the cold box were presented.The development tendency of core making technology for sodium silicate cold box was prospected.
