Research of Vertical Distribution Characteristics of Castanopsis fissa Plantations' Biomass

Based on the investigation and research of vertical distribution characteristics of 11 years Castanopsis fissa plantations' biomass,the results showed that during the biomass of different organs of standard wood,tree trunks was the biggest,leaves was the lowest,the order of each organ's biomass was as follow:trunk(47.56%) branch(25.71%) root(15.79%) leaf(10.94%).In stand biomass of different levels,the tree layer was the largest up to 363.89 t/hm2,followed by litter layer,36.12 t/hm2,low was shrubs herb layer at 29.67 t/hm2;order of biomass allocation rate at each layer was as follow:tree layer(84.66%) litter layer(8.41%) shrub herb layer(6.91%).
