Flexible load in smart grids

Smart grid was put forward with the increasing contradiction between power supply and demand and large-scale access of distributed energy.Being one of the most important characters of smart grid,"interaction" between power grid and loads draws more and more attentions.This paper analyzes the effects of load flexibility in improving power grid operation level,compares the main differences between interactive grids and traditional grids,and introduces the construction status domestic and overseas.The development goals of flexible load technologies are clarified,and the realization methods of flexible load management are expounded.
