Quadrupole coupling constants of deutron and boron nuclei in solid KBD4

Abstract Spin-lattice relaxation times T 1 for deuterons and boron nuclei were measured in solid KBD 4 . With the assumption of a vamishing asymmetry parameter the values of 106, 54 and 29 kHz were obtained for the electric quadrupole coupling constant e 2 qQ / h of deuteron and 10 B and 11 B nuclei, respectively.
