The invention concerns the use of quinolone and naphthyridone carboxylic acid derivatives which are substituted in position 7 by a 1-aminomethyl-2-oxa-7-azabicyclo[3.3.0]oct-7-yl group and their salts for treating Helicobacter pylori infections and the gastroduodenal diseases associated therewith.
