Calcination of Vanadium Catalyst for Sulfuric Acid Industry by Microwave Method

Calcination of vanadium catalyst for sulfuric acid industry by microwave irradiation is studied in this paper, and the optimum conditions, microwave power and irradiation time are obtained. The performances such as activity, strength, wear and tear and construction properties of vanadium catalysts sample by this process technology have reached or exceeded that processed by traditional method. Besides, this method is energy and time saving, decreasing pollution, lowering production cost and increasing economic benefit.
