AGV-based shelf identification apparatus and method

The invention discloses an AGV-based shelf identification apparatus and a method. According to the apparatus and method, through a laser installed on an AGV and a camera, the imging point image in a preset space before an AGV is obtained, through the coordinate of the imging point image and the correaponding relation between the point on the imging point image and the point in the preset space, the included angle between the first direction of AGV advancing and a first plane determined by the shelf center line in the preset space and a AGV center is determined, according to the included angle obtained through calculation, the direction of the AGV is adjusted, and thus the AGV transports a cargo to a correct position. According to the AGV-based shelf identification apparatus, the camera and the laser are installed on the AGV, and the structure is simple. Through the processing of the imaging point image, the shelf position in the preset space can be accurately positioned, and the accurate positioning of the shelf is realized.
