Optimization Design Analysis of Primary Surface Heat Exchanger

2008
According to the structure characteristics and flow heat transfer theory of primary surface heat exchanger(PSHE),a multi-objective optimization design model was established by optimization theory. The structural mass,heat-transfer coefficient and pressure loss are taken as objective function, and the geometrical sizes of flow channel and flow velocity as design variables. The multi-objective problem is converted to single-objective problem by linear weighting method. The optimization toolbox of popular mathematic software MATLAB is applied to solve the mathematical model of single-objective problem. The result of optimization example shows that the subjective factors can be avoided in choosing corrugated foil geometrical sizes and can obtain the best design of optimum performance under optimization design analysis method. The optimization analysis is of great use to obtain advanced PSHE equipment, power and chemical complex of high economical benefit.
