LDL and atherosclerosis: from quantity to quality
1990
Dyslipidemia means “a condition of normolipidemia being present subtle variations of composition a/or structure of lipoproteins”. A state of dyslipidemia may concern all the major lipoprotein classes. In this paper will be referred only some variations concerning low density lipoproteins (LDL); the observed variations may explain an atherogenetic power of LDL even when there are normal levels of LDL (normo-LDL-lipidemia).
