D‐shaped core polysiloxane waveguide with surface relief Bragg grating

Abstract We present new technological process for fabrication of D‐shaped core polysiloxane waveguide with surface relief Bragg grating based on polysiloxane molding and fiber drawing method. We document local decrease in the spectrum of the transmitted signal due to Bragg reflection from the surface relief grating and also demonstrate a shift of the Bragg wavelength due to elongation of the prepared polysiloxane waveguide.
