Multi-standby terminal and method for self-registration

The invention discloses a multi-standby terminal and a self-registration method thereof. The method includes the steps that after the powering on of the multi-standby terminal, each piece of IMSI information which is connected with an SIM card is read; when the multi-standby terminal is judged to have the valid SIM card according to the IMSI information, the operation of reporting the phone-card matching relation information to a server is carried out according to the report sign stored in the multi-standby terminal and indicating the success of the report of each piece of IMEI matching relation information; or after each piece of the IMEI matching relation information is reported to the server by the multi-standby terminal, the operation of reporting the phone-card matching relation information to the server is executed. The multi-standby terminal comprises more than one wireless communication modules as well as a unit for acquiring IMEI codes corresponding to each wireless communication module, a processing unit and a sending unit. The method leads the server to obtain all the valid phone-card matching information on the multi-standby terminal and realizes the effective management of the server to the multi-standby terminal.
