A process for the preparation of nanoparticle dispersions

The invention relates to a method for producing nanoparticle dispersions with particle diameters of 10 to 300 nm, comprising the following steps; (a) introducing organic active substances into a liquid phase in which they are not soluble, (b) heating the resulting mixture to above the melting point of the organic active substances, (c) adding an effective quantity of at least one emulsifier to the resulting oil phase and finally, d) cooling the emulsion to below the melting point of the organic active substances.
