Presentation of Case A 34-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of low-back and flank pain, with oliguria. The patient was well until seven years earlier, when severe abdominal pain developed, and a laparotomy performed at another hospital revealed endometriosis with intraperitoneal bleeding from the right ovary; a right oophorectomy was performed. Thereafter, the patient experienced chronic abdominal pain. Three years before entry abdominal adhesions were lysed at a second hospital.
