A baking method for reducing chilling damage loss of HD (Honghua Dajinyuan) tobacco leaves in high-altitude areas comprises the steps as follows: firstly, field treatment; secondly, baking of tobacco leaves: after being treated at a yellowing stage and a wilting stage, tobacco leaves at the top level are baked fully yellow and dehydrated till leaf apexes are dry, and then all tobacco leaves are baked like those which ripe normally.
