The separation and identification of some volatile paraffinic, naphthentc, olefinic and aromatic hydrocarbons
2007
Separation of some volatile paraffinic, naphthenic, olefinic and aromatic hydrocarbons by means of gas-liquid chromatography are described. Stationary liquid phases capable of specifically retarding certain chemical structures are used in the identification of the different types of hydrocarbon. Some generalisations are made on factors affecting separations by gas-liquid chromatography.
