Optical Orphan Afterglows: Observational Aspects

GRBs may be detected and investigated not only by its high‐energy radiation, but also by its optical emission. We discuss the recent independent possibilities to detect, to identify, and to investigate orphan optical afterglows and optical transients of GRBs.
