Cycling: the forgotten/re-emerging transport mode

When we think of reducing car dependency with the increased use of Transit Orientated Developments (TOD�s), the first thoughts are generally to train, bus, light rail and walking. Rarely, does cycling become a key factor. However, a quick reality check will provide a different perspective that will encourage practitioners to incorporate cycling facilities within TOD�s.
