The invention relates to a comprehensive control method for the function of machine halt without boiler shutdown in a power plant FCB. The comprehensive control method mainly comprises the steps of the triggering condition and the reset condition of FCB actuating signals, the control process of all subsystems of a unit when the FCB actuating signals are generated, and the process about how to ensure that the unit is safely, stably and quickly restored to be in a grid-connected state after the FCB actuating signals are generated. The comprehensive control method can be applied to any DCS control system, through the control strategy, under the working condition that a steam turbine trips or an electric generator trips, it is guaranteed that a boiler does not shut down, and the unit is made to be quickly connected into a grid again. The cost for restarting the boiler is saved, the service life loss caused by starting and stopping of the boiler is reduced, and the service life of the boiler is prolonged. Meanwhile, the automation degree of the system is also improved, the economic cost is lowered, and the application prospect is limitless.
