The professionalization responds to the demands of society, the developer Cuban Medical University and the challenges of the social context in which the academic institution in charge of the continuous and ascending improvement of its teachers is inserted. It contributes to the transformation of each of the performance scenarios from considering it at the center of the process and the recognition of the problems and potentialities of its professional performance. This article aims to elaborate a strategy for the professionalization of teachers of the Faculty of Nursing and Technology, based on the materialist dialectical conception; capable of showing the path of new scientific knowledge or its reconstruction from the very process of knowledge of man, having as fundamental bases Marxist humanism and the unity of theory and practice.
