Comprehensive Evaluation of Agronomic Traits of Early-maturing Canada Maize Population

The 80 selected lines originated from Canada population were materials,the result showed the phenotype variance was rich by field agronomic character identification,the 12 selected lines which contained SW1184(B73×EP8),SW1084(Mo17×EP3),SW1081(Mo17×EP3),SW1195(Ye478×EP18) and SW1137(Longkang11×EP21) were superior to other lines by principal components analysis.The performance of selected lines was early-maturing,moderate height,shorter flowering interval,higher yield,high 100-seed weight and seed rate,and SW1184 was the best one.It could be priority used in breeding.
