A Study of a Ultra-wide Band Antenna Base on Fractal Structure

A fractal ultra-wide band(UWB)antenna was made up of square and circular supersede iteration,which based on microstrip antenna and fractal antenna theory,was realized in the paper.The characteristics of impedance bandwidth and radiation pattern were optimized by using electromagnetic simulator CST.The results of the simulation,shows that the antenna has good omni-directional radiation pattern and wider impedance bandwidth,which can meet the ultra-wide band communications applications.
