ANTIMICROBIAL COMBINATION FOR CARBAPENEM-RESISTANT GRAM-NEGATIVE BACTERIA OF THE SPECIES ACINETOBACTER BAUMANNII PRODUCING METAL-β-LACTAMASE

2016
FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to clinical microbiology, and is designed to overcome the resistance of Gram-negative microorganisms of the species Acinetobacter baumannii, producing metal-β-lactamase (MβL), to carbapenems. Antimicrobial combination of the combined use of carbapenems and bisphosphonates with respect to carbapenem-resistant gram-negative bacteria of the species Acinetobacter baumannii, producing MβL, which leads to inactivation of MβL at the following weight ratio of components: 1. Imipenem and clodronic acid 1:938 or 2. Meropenem and clodronic acid 1:1,875 or 3. Imipenem and etidronic acid 1:50,000 or 4. Meropenem and etidronic acid 1:50,000. EFFECT: use of the invention allows to model the preparation of strains of gram-negative microorganisms with different levels of resistance to carbapenems and to evaluate the inhibition efficiency of metal-β-lactamases. 1 cl, 5 tbl
