Hepatic Gadolinium Deposition and Reversibility after Contrast Agent–enhanced MR Imaging of Pediatric Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Recipients

Our study highlights two issues: the finding that gadolinium from gadoterate accumulates in the liver in pediatric patients with iron overload who undergo hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and that it is reversible with chelation therapy.
