The present invention discloses a non-pulling lathe-repairing and detection method for a railway train wheel pair and a lathe and detector assembly; the method includes: an ejecting wheel mechanism of a lathe may be used first to jack up the train wheel pair and lathe-repair a wheel to be detected and repaired; after lathe-repairing, detecting flaws of the wheel pair through a probe carrier. Alternatively, the method includes: using the ejecting wheel mechanism of the lathe to jack up the train wheel pair, and detecting flaws for the wheel pair through the probe carrier; after flaw detection, lathe-repairing the wheel to be detected and repaired. In this way, the method provided herein combines non-pulling lathe-repairing and flaw detection for railway train wheel pairs enables single wheel jacking to be performed at a same workstation so as to lathe-repair and detect the wheel, a maintenance process is effectively simplified, and maintenance cost is effectively reduced.
