Thanks to its recognized quality and the new behaviors of globalized production, marketing and consumption, its cultivation and processing has made improvement adjustments until it has been brought to the table of demanding markets and international gourmet calls. These new contexts of national and international trade and the market for cup consumption, reaffirm Special Coffees as an effective opportunity for economic recovery for the producer union, hard hit by different and successive phenomena. To achieve this, improvement channels have been increased throughout the chain, encouraged with various certifications that add value, and disseminated through innovative national and international coffee fair events. The premiums and incentives achieved, much higher than the best prices quoted per kilo on the stock market for traditional coffees, according to certifications, traceability and cup qualifications achieved, motivate exports of lots of certified coffees under conditions very different from the traditional one applied in marketing. of the green bean and with only the recognition of coffee of Colombian origin.
