PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of performing intended output, a communication device, a communication method and a program.SOLUTION: A communication device comprises a region dividing part, a transmission control part and an output control part. The region dividing part divides a display region including at least a captured image that is obtained by imaging the surroundings of the other communication device, and indicating a region where the captured image is displayed, in an output video image that is outputted by the present device, into a plurality of unit regions in accordance with the number of persons projected in the captured images. The transmission control part performs control for transmitting to the other communication device coordinate information indicating a unit region corresponding to a position that is instructed by a user, in the output video image. The output control part performs control, in the case where output information including audio of which the directivity is controlled in accordance with a region corresponding to the coordinate information in the captured image, for outputting the received output information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
