Continuous oil pipe connector

2011
The utility model relates to the technical field of continuous oil pipes, in particular to a continuous oil pipe connector. The tail part of a continuous oil pipe of the connector is cut into a plurality of flaps; the tail end of each flap is of a T-shaped step shape; a plurality of straight flutes are fromed in the outer cylindrical surface of the lower end of an upper joint in design; the continuous oil pipe is inserted into the upper joint and each flap at the tail part of the continuous oil pipe is simultaneously turned upwards to be arranged in the corresponding straight flutes of the upper joint; the T-shaped step surface of the tail end of each flap is hung on the end face of the top of a flute edge of the corresponding straight flute; a lower joint is connected with an external screw thread at the middle part of the upper joint by an internal screw thread at the upper end of the lower joint; the outer diameter of each flute edge of the upper joint is the same as the inner diameter of the matched lower joint; and a step is arranged inside the lower joint in design and supports against the end face of the lower part, which is formed after the continuous oil pipe is turned into the straight flutes of the upper joint. According to the utility model, the tension-compression resistance and torsion resistance capabilities of the continuous oil pipe connector are greatly increased and the full-size inner diameter of the continuous oil pipe is realized; and the passing degree of a cable and a steel ball is ensured. The utility model overcomes the defect that both the tensile resistance and torsion resistance capabilities of the traditional connector cannot meet the requirement of the continuous pipe drilling construction.
