Observation on Improving Neurological Deficit in Patients with Sequelae of Stroke with Stone Needle Therapy

Objective:To observe the impact of stone needle therapy on improving neurological deficit in patients with sequelae of stroke in clinical.Method:60 cases of patients with sequelae of stroke were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group received stone needle therapy;the control group received acupuncture treatment.Evaluated according the situation of improving the neurological deficit after one course of clinical treatment.Result:The scores of direction,awareness stimulation,level gazing in 60 patients were zero before and after treatment,and they did not participate in statistics.The scores of other neurological damage factors in patients of each group were significantly decreased after treatment(P0.01).The scores of all neurological damage factors were no significant differences before treatment(P0.05).After treatment,the scores of walking ability factor in the treatment group were significantly higher than the control group(P0.05),the other factors were no difference between the two groups(P0.05).The scores of clinical neurological deficit in patients of two groups were lower after treatment(P0.01) by paired test,the differences were significant comparing in two groups;the situation of score improvement of clinical neurological deficit in two groups showed no difference tested by analysis of covariance(select before treatment as covariates) after treatment(P0.05).Conclusion:Stone needle therapy can significantly improve the neurological deficits in patients with sequelae of stroke symptoms,and it is worthy of clinical practice.
