Bartholin's Gland carcinoma - a rare diagnosis Carcinoma da Glândula de Bartholin - um raro diagnóstico

2015
Primary carcinoma of the Bartholin gland represents 0,001% of all gynecological cancers. The incidence of these tumors is higher during the seventh decade of life. Adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma accounts for approximately 80% of reported cases. Since this is a neoplasm of the vulva, staging and treatment of Bartholin's gland cancer follow the same gui delines of the vulvar cancer. Although the vast majority of pathology associated with Bartholin gland is benign, any solid mass in this region should be carefully evaluated, especially in postmenopausal women.
