Difficulties in diagnosis of recurrent neurological symptoms in a patient with chronic discoid lupus erythematosus

: This report presents neurological complications in the case of 51 year old patient suffering from chronic discoid lupus erythematosus for about 16 years. Since 2001 the symptoms of central nervous system damage have reoccurred. Despite many years of observation and progress in diagnostics the basis of this pathological process have not been identified.
