Sociological analysis of status of prostitutes in Iran

Although prostitution has long background in past times, today the subject of sex services in Iran has been changed into a complicated problem with multiple dimensions and different theories have been proposed to explain it. Profitability of wide sex industry includes different types of sexual utilization, pornography and abuses of women and children that have adapted a position agreed to prostitution and have also gained attention of powers and dominant toward theoretical explanations and their freedom for their right to control their body. The present study has investigated prostitution of women in Iran.
