Steel based infiltration to achieve full density, high performance PM parts

AbstractThe current state of the art of iron base infi ltration is assessed. Recent efforts on development of the infi ltration process, its potential for improving mechanical properties and its dimensional change characteristics are reviewed and reported results summarised.
