고객들이 인식하는 여성 퍼스널 트레이너의 감성지능과 신체적 외양이 PT 구매의사에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of female personal trainersemotional intelligence and physical appearance recognized by fitness center customers on purchase intention in personal training session. For this, data were drawn from 373 fitness customers, selected by convenience sampling in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungnam. PASW Statistics 18 was used for analyzing frequency analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and logistic regression analysis. The results were as follow: First, emotional intelligence presented 75.3 percent hitting ratio of predicting PT purchase intention. Second, other’s emotional appraisal and use of emotion positively influenced on personal training sessions purchase intention. Also other’s emotion appraisal showed a normal effect size and use of emotion presented a very large effect size. Third, physical appearance presented 75.6% hitting ratio to predict personal training sessions purchase intention. Fourth, healthy body shape and suitably dressed positively effected on personal training sessions purchase intention. Also, heathy body shape and suitable dress presented a very large effect size. In conclusions, female personal trainersemotional intelligence and physical appearance seem to have a positive effect on personal training sessions purchase intention.
