Polymers (I) suitable for solid electrolytes, separators or electrodes for electrochemical cells with lithium intercalation compounds, formed from a main chain (II) having several side chains (III), in which a) the main chain (II) consists essentially of a polayrylene (IV) and b) the side chains (III) are suitable for reversibly solvating lithium cations.
