Effect of ziprasidone on quality of life of schizophrenic patients

Objective To contrast the effects of living quality of schizophrenic of ziprasidone and haloperidol.Methods Seventy-four schizophrenic outpatients treated by Haloperidol and sventy-two schizophrenic outpatients treated by ziprasidone were investigated and analysed by GQOLI 、PANSS and TESS.Results Patients in the ziprasidone group have better living qualities than the haloperidol group.Conclusion Ziprasidone is benefical to improve the living qualities of schizophrenic patients and is good for them to fit in with the society.
