Качество кормов из люцерны посевной и козлятника восточного

2016
The article deals with the results of a comparative study of legume fodder crops, i.e. alfalfa and Caucasian goat’s rue, used in the production of fodder for cattle. It is stated that Caucasian goat’s rue surpasses alfalfa in green mass yields at 24%. The goat’s rue green mass is good raw material for preparing hay and haylage. The nutritive value of ready-made feeds made of this raw material is higher as compared with those made of alfalfa in all the basic nutritive compounds except raw fat, sugar and calcium. The quality of silage made from Caucasian goat’s rue was worse by all the parameters as compared with that made from alfalfa.
