Study on Strategic Environmental Assessment of Urban National Economic and Social Development Plan——A Case of Wuhan City

Urban national economic and social development plan is very significant to urban economic and social development and environmental condition in China. This paper analyzes the necessity and importance of introducing strategic environmental assessment (SEA) into the urban national economic and social development plan. And based on a case study of SEA of the Wuhan Outline of 11th Five-year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, the paper puts forward the technical framework and methods for SEA of urban national economic and social development plan.
