GPS MATAVIMO REZULTATŲ KORELIACIJOS ĮTAKA IŠLYGINTŲJŲ DYDŽIŲ TIKSLUMUI

Summary This article continues earlier investigations of the influence of correlation of observations on accuracy of adjusted values. In the previous article it was concluded, that in calculations of network adjustment it is necessary to evaluate the correlation of observations to achieve reliable characteristics of accuracy of adjusted values, because involving the correlation into a network adjustment gives more accurate results. At this time these arguments were evaluated by adjusting the 2nd order GPS network of Lithuania. In this job for the first time the 2nd order GPS network was adjusted in full extent, without splitting it into smaller parts. The calculations of the precision of adjusted values were done in cases, when the correlation is involved in the adjustment and when it is omitted. As a separate case, the 2nd order GPS network was also adjusted without involving the errors of initial values. The summaries of calculations of 1st order and 2nd order GPS networks are presented in Tables 1 and ...
