ABSTRACT ABSTRACT ABSTRACT ABSTRACT Diploma Programs in Nursing with disciplinary curricula cope with the need to be reorganized to conform to the new guidelines. In this way the study aimed at characterizing the incorporation of the interdisciplinarity in tree undergraduate courses, in the municipality of Sao Paulo. Documents and interviews were collected and then analyzed in a qualitative approach. The study detected efforts on the part of the coordination of the courses to establish an integrated curriculum. Aside limiting factors pointed out, the projects in the community appear as facilitators of incorporation of the interdisciplinarity in the curricula.
