Centro antifumo UOC Ser.D (Asp di Cosenza): Storia di una esperienza decennale

The study describes the care experience of smokers recruited in the Antismoke’s Centre of the Ser.D of Cosenza (ASP Cosenza - Calabrian Region) in 10 years of activity. The Centre has prepared a therapeutic care run supplementing the positive effects of the perfect medicine (varenicline) for the smoking cessation with a psico-educational approach looked at improving and at supporting the user addressing it towards a positive and ripe motivation to stop being smoked. There is in way, besides, the formulation of a protocol of agreement between the Antismoke’s Centre and the local network of Pneumology and Cardiology centers to prevent and treat smoke-related pathologies.
