Predicting the process of salt formation during operation of oil wells

1979
In order to determine the rates for conducting measures to control salt deposits in oil field equipment, the condition of the well at the moment of its study was revealed by measuring the operating signs of the given wells, and then, by using the methods of pattern recognition, it was established whether the well is salt forming. The method of predicting the states of oil wells is applicable for conditions of the Samotlor field. An experiment was conducted to predict the salt-formation of 28 oil wells (beds B/sub 8/ and B/sub 10/), 20 of which belong to the fund of ''salt'' (class K/sub 1/) and 8 wells to the ''nonsalt'' (class K/sub 2/). The wells were characterized by the following set of operating signs: method of operation (P/sub 1/); oil output at the control moment in time (P/sub 2/), T/day; accumulated water recovery (P/sub 3/), etc. A total of 13 signs were collected. By optimizing the parameters P/sub 1/,...P/sub 13/, an extreme algorithm was obtained with 100% accuracy.
